February Round Up

Is it just me or was February over in a blink?

I'm going to need a Doctor
I spent a lot of February getting to grips with the New Approach from Weight Watchers:

I broke my gym drought after a 4 week break and got myself back in there for some squats and strides:

I made friends with my body (and I've got more posts about body image coming up in March):

Look at those thighs! BOOM!
I reviewed Popchips:

I wrote about healthy habits and planning skills:

and (most exciting) I was featured in Healthy Magazine at a styled photoshoot!

Coming up in March:

SPRINGTIME!

My local park is filling up with purple crocuses

I love springtime so much. I love the colours, the new flowers, the lighter evenings, the end of winter, the smaller gas bills and ...

IT'S BIRTHDAY TIME!!

I'm turning 34 in a matter of weeks! Eeek! I've been having a lot of dreams about this recently which have all been a bit anxiety-based (people getting my age wrong, having a birthday party, feeling all my teeth drop out, going back to school etc.)  and yet I never worry about getting older; I love being in my thirties, it's been the best decade for me so far and I hope it keeps on getting better.

I've got a packed social life this month, so hop over to Instagram to keep up with a photographic update of all my adventures - I post lots of photos and I promise they're not all food! - but here's a coffee and walnut cake that I made and posted on there:

Oh, and just in case my first picture wasn't a big enough clue, March is also Doctor Who month! It's back on our screens in the UK - HURRAY! With that in mind, I must show off my amazing travel card holder; it's the Van Gogh Tardis!

Yep, Timelord nerd. I am one.

  1. I turn 34 this year too, and was just chatting with a friend this week about how much more I am enjoying my 30s than my 20s - I'm a lot kinder to myself these days! Enjoy March and have a fab birthday :)

    1. I am starting to feel a bit *eep* about it, it's starting to get a bit grown up around here! I'm much nicer to myself these days too.
