I'm doing a little Pay it Forward work here, giving a polite nod to some great blog writers out there and some blogs that I enjoy reading. Due to the nature of my writing, January always brings me new readers (hello and thank you!) and I wanted to share with you some of my favourite blogs relating to diet, health, lifestyle and fitness. Go and have a look at these sites when you next have a little free time.

Sheryl is currently reposting her blog, starting from when she first joined Weight Watchers. For anyone starting on a new healthy lifestyle and discovering fitness I'd really recommend you give her blog a read. I only discovered Sheryl's blog a few years ago, so reading about all her early adventures is amazing and inspiring for me too.
Ffion is currently following the Whole30 Paleo challenge. She's eating some seriously nice food and I'm finding it very interesting to read about how she's getting on (I don't think she's having any caffeine - I'd be dead by now if that was me, so you've gotta admire anyone who will give that a go!).
Tracey wrote a brilliant post recently about there being no 'quick fixes' to lose weight, and she's so right. Quick fixes are a massive bugbear of mine (at some point I'm going to have to dedicate an entire post to my rants about Claire Richards). Her blog is about following a maintenance plan after she successfully lost 5 stones in weight.
Not only is Alison one of my good friends, she's my make-up guru and she's recently started writing about her experience as a member of Slimming World. As a plan that I've never followed it's been interesting to learn about it.
Aside from the brilliant name (which makes everyone think of that episode of Sex and the City), NoScrunchie listed my blog as one of their Top Blogs of 2012, so I have to pay that acclaim forward! (And thank NoScrunchie for listing my site on their blog).
Slimming Shady
A new blog on the circuit and another one of my friends! This blog documents Samantha's Slimming World journey from the start of January, she shares her thoughts, struggles and recipes along the way.

Thank you for the shout out! However I am drinking caffeine, I cut out a lot of tea (only having one a day), but I seem to have taken up a daily black coffee habit instead- oopps!
ReplyDeleteI'd be unable to function without daily coffee, so there's no need to be ashamed of that!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the mention Alex :)
Without bigging you up I would like to return the compliment and say that I love your style of writing and am looking forward to your next Video Blog (hint hint!!) x
BEST COMMENT EVER. 10 POINTS. WELL DONE.
DeleteThank you. :)
I've got another beauty video all lined up and ready to record, now I just need to find the time to record it!
